2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our Website or engaging our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services. Use of the Website constitutes acceptance whether or not you have formally engaged us for a legal matter.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement to use our Services.
3. Description of Services
Payung Legal provides legal advisory services focused on pension matters in Malaysia. Our current service offerings are:
- Pension Position Review (RM 150): A structured assessment of your pension standing with a written summary and Q&A time.
- Appeal Preparation and Support (RM 600): Preparation and management of formal pension appeals, including document handling and authority correspondence.
- Dependant Benefits Advice (RM 365): Guidance for families on survivor and dependant pension entitlements.
Service availability is subject to our current capacity. Geographic service delivery is primarily within Selangor and the Klang Valley. Remote consultations are available subject to the nature of the matter.
4. Engagement and Client Agreement
A legal engagement formally begins when you have received and accepted a written engagement letter from us confirming the scope of work, fees, and terms specific to your matter. The Website alone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a legal engagement.
5. Fees and Payment
All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Current service fees are:
- Pension Position Review: RM 150
- Appeal Preparation and Support: RM 600
- Dependant Benefits Advice: RM 365
Where a matter involves additional complexity or scope beyond the standard service, any additional fees will be discussed and agreed in writing before the additional work commences. Payment terms will be specified in the engagement letter for each matter.
6. User Responsibilities
When engaging our Services or using our Website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information relevant to your matter
- Promptly respond to requests for additional documents or information
- Not use our Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
